don't worry phil and abOUt clOUt....you can always look forward to the meinke car bowl, or the blockbuster bowl....

it happens to a lot of guys....OU just had problems with ED....you know, erractic defense that gave up, what, 20 points over the last 20 minutes of the game....

there is always next week, no wait, you might lose that one as well...then you are done for sure...

here's hoping you get your ED checked out and solved....how about if we just call the sooners the "girlie-men" for right now...

Also LSU is like way down there too. Good teams have a hard time finding good teams that want to play them early. Teams aren't looking for early losses. That is why Iowa has no trouble, even the cyclones know they can get an early W.

In all seriousness....have you looked at the SOS? Of the top 10 teams, OSU has the 4th worst SOS - 62. And that is by far, the worst of the top 4 teams. And has the 11th worst SOS of the Top 25. Which means that to some degree OU is not playing difficult teams, nor are OU's opponents playing difficult teams (remember SOS is 66% opponents w/l record and 33% opponents opponents w/l record). Obviously the SOS is determined on a weekly basis so i'm sure OU's will get higher....but up to this point, OU just isn't playing hard teams.

USC has played Washington St. (39 SOS), played AT Nebraska (19 SOS), will play this week AT Washington (which has a 23 SOS)...while OU has played North Texas (73 SOS), Miami (FL) (53 SOS), Utah St. (74 SOS), AT Tulsa (32 SOS) will play Colorado who has a 63 (SOS).

I don't like USC, I don't like LSU, I don't like Florida....i would rather have OU as the number one team in the country....well, behind Iowa anyway....but frankly, LSU probably, in my mind, should be the number one team. Minus their game against Middle Tenn. St., LSU has played tough teams and crushed them...and the one game they didn't win by a ton (SC game) they played a great South Carolina team (ranked #13 at the time, with a SOS of 12).

Anyway, like always, and forever, GO HAWKEYES....the true National Champions.

Most Team's opponents have not been that stiff yet, including USC, why is OU the only one who faces this charge?
